Right now I would say it needs a tune pretty badly. I haven't noticed any knock, but I honestly don't feel like I'm going much if any faster than I was before the charger, just making a whole lot more noise. I paid full price for the charger, the deal I was referring to was on the labor, which was $350. I'd have to go back and add up all the receipts for the parts but I believe it came out around $2600 including the charger kit itself.

mill your Y7 should be fine with a charger, they make kits for the non-vtec engines.

I'll do a review when I feel like it's worth doing. Right now I'm pretty underwhelmed to be honest, and I don't want to jump to any hasty conclusions. I will say this, it bogs like hell on launch and any time I downshift (which is a lot since I drive an auto and can't hold higher gears other than 2nd.)

- where is your timing?
- do you have a boost gauge on it?
