whats the difference between the 94 and 96 tail lights exactly? i dont see the diference. and i was just wondering if there was any difference because i finally found the set of lights i been looking for but they are 96-00 style and my civic is the 94 4door lx. well thanx for you help i really appreciate it.

 

the 96 up tail lights are a little bigger and will not fit

So what style of taillights are you looking for? SI-style red/clears? Altezzas? Post up a picture and I can probably find a site with them for sale.

 

they are completely clear like a frosted clear no red b/s. i added a pic i hope it worked. i have been looking every where for them and i finally saw them but they were for a 96 . i apreciate any help and thanks for replying so fast.

okay, that's frustrating.... I know I've seen those clear tails for EGs before, but I can't remember where it was.. and I've searched and searched but I can't find them... if I happen to run across them, I'll let you know

 

i know they have them somewheres but where is a good question, at a local junk yard i found a half of a set it was just the 2 inside for the brake/reverse. dont feel bad i have spent 4 days before i found the set for the 96. i will have a pic tomorrow to show. and i already have clear corners,headers on the way and on the 3rd i want to get some tail lights preferably those. and i will order my cat back exhaust,and hopefully some wheels. i apreciate the help alot.

 

Just so you know those tailights are illegal. They dont have the reflectors needed. And you NEED a red in your tailight. I have seen a bunch of cars that only keep the inner tailights, and keep the stock outer tailight to keep it legal.

 

they arent illegal where im at. i see cars runnin round with those style. even trucks. and before someone asks i live in bay st. louis,ms we dont even have ride hieght laws or exhaust noise laws. here.
we dont even have exhaust polution laws. if i wanted to i could drive a car or truck with open headers,haha

 

i have another question i found the lights i am looking for but they are for the 3door model so would the 3door tail lights interchange with the 2/4 door?
