Default Top Mod?

What do you think is the best "have-to-have-it" Civic mod - that is also reasonably priced - besides wheels and tires?

Thanks for your opinion!

Depends on wat u want. personally besides wheels and tires, i'd drop the car 2in front and back with some good coilovers. but i prefered workin on my performance first before anything. then i'll go to the handling next then the looks.

It depends on the person and the build. I always put adecent system in to begin with. I love my music. My car must play it well. Suspension is always a tgood upgrade. A smart builder will always put on a good suspension before putting downsome serious power. What good is power if you cannot put it to the road?

I agree...Since the 2009 Si comes with a 350 watt stereo system, I think I'm going to look at exhaust first, then suspension. I'm leaning more towards more fun to drive rather than fastest car on the road. Would like to check out the short shifter though...any manufacturer recommendations?

A GOOD Suspension setup (does not have to be eleventy billion way adjustable coilovers...) is definitly the best first mod you can put on that car.

I did intake, exhaust, wheels/tires, THEN suspension and always regretted it. If I were to ever buy another Honda, it'd be suspension first, no question.

^^ definitely agree, the suspension was the last thing i put on my car and by far the most enjoyable.

put some flame stickers on it.!!

lol just kidding.

With those SI's I personally think the suspension is pretty dang decent stock. My brother has one and when I drive it i'm always impressed with the handling. But if the suspension is something you want to do, go for it.

There is a lot you can do with those motors in that car. So you have a lot of options. Like everyone else has been saying, it really depends on the person and what YOU want. Good luck. Let us know what you do. And you have a beautiful SI i must say.!

Dang I love stifflers mom. Cracks me up with every post.

But op, I did intake and exhaust first, what a waste of money that was, disappointed.

Id say go for a small drop and some nice wheels.... a short shifter and weighted **** feels AWESOME, hamor made a good point on that...
