my friend has a civic 96 5sp coupe and did 90 with me in it he says it wont go faster at 4500 rpms what can he do to get it to 110(some one posted that speed on a stock civic a while back)

 

Well if he is only at 4500 rpm's then he needs to downshift 1 if not 2 gears. 110 is even a lil low for what my honda (00) can do. Is it a vtec?
