Top speed for cheap

Top speed for cheap
Hey I drive a 98 civc dx. I've only put a few small upgrades on it such as an air intake and a ECU modification. These upgrades have gave me some extra exceleration and its def. noticiable, but my car tops out around 105mph. My question to you guys is, what upgrades do you recommend to increase top speed at the best price?

RE: Top speed for cheap
Uhm how old are you and how long have you had your license? Why do I ask?
Why are you interested in a top speed? Are you entering a top speed competition with your civic. Don't bother trying to buy performance parts if you just want to hit a higher top speed. I can see if you wanted a better time at your quarter mile or 0-60 time but what in the heck are you doing 105 for on the road anyway? Stick to acceleration. Simply put. Just get on the road. Step on the gas peddle. And see what you car maxes out as and shuts down at.

RE: Top speed for cheap
I'm 18 I've had my license since the day I turned 16. It's not that I'm going to buy any upgrades for top speed, as I have no real reason for them like you mentioned. I suppose I should have worded it different. I have some knowledge about cars but not a ton, and I guess I was asking for just the sake of knowing. I know most of the things you can do to your car to make it breathe better and increase exceleration, and have done some upgrades myself. I was just wondering how to increase top speed, and how much it costs. And I've only tried to top my car out once and it was on a paved back road, I don't drive like an idiot.
