Default Trunk space

Hello guys!

I was thinking about buying myself a Civic Type-R 2006 or up.
However I need to know if its practical for me since I'm sitting in a wheelchair and was wondering if it might fit in the trunk without any problems.
I'm able to put the damn think into bits but some of the parts (like the frame and wheels) are abit hard to disassemble further :P

So, any1 who want to be so kind who can take some measurements of the trunk.
Would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

Bump for anyone willing to kindly provide dimensions of the trunk/cargo space for their 8th generation Civic sedan.

All I know is my Civic Si Coupe would handle a colapsable wheelchair just fine. I could actually sleep in the truck with a lot of extra room. So, a wheel chair shouldn't be a problem. They have a low lift over too that should help a lot.

Good luck ... ;-)

Well, stick is a challange. I've must have missed that, need automatic transmission I'm afraid
However, I can drive with I-shift but it would be kinda illegal since my licence only allow me to drive automatic.
Btw, cant the sport model be equipped with an automatic transmission?

Ok, the trunk space will be tricky but highly possible then.

Thanks för the answers guys.

THe Si model only comes in manual transmission.
I guess you should consider a different civic if your license only allows you to drive an automatic.
