Has anyone installed a USA Spec Ipod Interface in a 2006 Honda CIvic EX Coupe? If so, how hard was it to do and do you ahve any instructions on how to do it (with pictures)? I am lookingot get one for my Civic but I am wondering if the install is soemthing I wanto to tackle or if I need to have it done professionally. Any help anyone can offer woudl be greatly appreciated.

 

First off, welcome to the forums!

Mostly everyone has older civics, so I'm not sure if anyone would be able to saw they have done this.

 

Check on the Crutchfield.com web site they sell it over there and they will provide installation instructions. It doesn't seem that hard to install. I use plastic scraper tools to pry off the interior trim around the radio.

 

I emailed Crutchfield but they did not respond to me about receiving a copy of the instructions. I think they want you to buy the unit first and then worry about the instructions to put it in as part of the unit sale. I was jsut wonderign if anyone had instruction son how to put one if first before I bother to purchase the unit and try to put it in myself. I am more worried about pulling the dash apart and taking the radio out versus installing the unit. Worried I might break something.
