RE: Valve Adjusting Symptoms?

Noise from the valve cover area while the engine idles. Sounds like clicking or ticking. A little of this noise is normal. If the adjustment is way off it can almost start sounding like a diesel.

mine only makes noise when the car is cold and warming up, after a few minutes, it goes away.

sounds more like a vibration to me, but i could be wrong.

slight tapping kinda sound. mine needs to be adjusted, its been tapping for a lil while now...pisses me off cause it just sounds so bad. hopefully i can have it done soon. i'd suggest having it done by a mechanic who knows what their doing, could do some major damage if not done properly..
