I own an 06 Honda Civic with just about 70,000 Km's. Warranty is now up after 3 years and I was considering keeping up with the maint schedule as I have been during the warranty period. This may be a personal choice but with Honda's fairly good reliablity record is this a waste of money. Do most owners in my situation just do standard oil changes. If I just do oil changes and not the full maint schedule going forward will the oil change automatically turn off the B1 etc code and warning light or does the actual maint indicated have to be done. In the long run I may never break down if I follow the schedule but on the other hand this will add up in dollars over time. Most of my driving is Highway.Comments and opinions are welcome.
