Default Wd40

I went out to wash ma car yesterday, and i noticed that some guy next to me was spraying his tires and rims with WD-40. they looked really nice and black... but maybe it was just cuz he had just sprayed it lol.

does anybody else do this?
wouldnt using armor-all or something else like that work better? (thats wat i use..)

Don't put any substance on tires unless it's manufacturer recommended for tires. Oily stuff tends to degrade rubber.

WD-40 doesn't really dry, its just going to pick up dust.

I use WD40 on my tires only when I rub something. Helps hide the small rash. Then I return to actual tire products. I do use WD40 to clean the inside of my cars. Dash and all. Looks better longer, and doesn't dry everything up like armor-all

WD40 will last longer, and gives a damn good shine.

*edit *
Be careful, don't spray on steering wheel. That crap stays slick for a long time. Uber dangerous.
