It seems strange how the weight's of cars of the same generation will increase. Like though you'd think a 96 and 97 are the exact same car, the weight increases by 80 pounds (just an example). What is generally the cause for this difference? Is there anywhere I can look to see exactly what changes were made to the car for a given year?

New, more "luxurious" add-ons, "upgrades", lots of other stuff.
If it was the same car, they wouldn't be able to put that new 97 tag on it!
