Well this is kind of cool
I might be upgrading to a si or integra....
Before I got my civic she didnt want me to buy an integra becase she knows there more powerful and she doesnt want me to have a fast car becasue she said I would probably get in trouble with it. Well After talking to my mom last night she said that if I can sell my Ex and make enough money off that and if I had enough she would allow me to buy an si or intgra. And the reason i have to have her permission is becasue Im still 17. However once i turn 18 my parents said they will withdraw there names from the title of my car and banshee. So now I must decide if i want a civic si or an integra or just look at both and take whchever one i find that i like the best. I like the styling of the civic and the teg just the same so as far as looks go its a toss-up But I have never driven a teg but if it drives the same same or better then the civic. It will probably be the teg and also to those of you who have driven both once your in the driver seat other then the more potent engine does everything inside feel the same? I like how the civic feels so small and agile is the teg got the same feel?

i like the teg interior, my friend just got one an LS (hes 15 almost 16, and his dad bought it for him). i haven't really driven it a lot, but compared to my 90 civic and my old 95 civic it has a lot more torque, but it drives the same as a civic.
if i were you i wouldn't trade up, because you will pay more for insurance for a teg or si. just save the money and do a motor swap

humm thats a hard decision..i love the civic, but tegs are so nice too..if you get a teg be ready to pay high insurance, thats the down part, and get a type R....but the si is really nice too and would be cheaper on insurance if thats a factor when you buy it..dam i cant even choose
TYPE R

^I really like black on a car as well.
But, if I were you sandrider, I'd be on the look out for a championship white type r....[sm=drooldude.gif]
Thats the only car that would make me overlook the Civic.

Not a fan of white not becasue i dont like how it looks but becasue of the fact that i live in a farming community. And my family has had a white car before I hated it it was such bitch to wash. And also I dont think I will be getting a type r its just out of the budget. I might be able to get a 96 or 97 GSR. But who knows I could also just wait, do all the little repairs to my car and then eventually do a b16 or b18 swap. If I do get a swap and i run the engine without boosting it or anything will i have to run high octane fuel or will I be able to get away with 87 octane?

^no, it's 16 everywhere in the U.S. to get an actual license. Different states have diferent restrictions on that license tho. Here in Michigan you can't drive between midnight and 6 a.m. until you turn 17.

Here in oregon you cant haul passangers inless its immediate family memebers for the first six months, inless someone 25 or older is in the vehicle. For the second six months you can have more then 3 passengers without someone over the age of 25. But after one year of driving there are not really and weird restrictions
