Hey Guys,
I am looking into buying a Civic Coupe with 115HP, Manual Tranny. Now how many HP can i get out of this puppy ? Is this car slow ? I am about to downscale from a 93 Camry which drinks gas and has 188 HP. How fast can this car go from 0-60 stock ? So what's the deal with a civic ? Let me in on your secret! lol

Slow? no, but it can go faster. Any user on this forum, for the most part, is about making an awesome car with great reliability, and above average performance. I can gaurantee that your car is faster than mine, but then again, I have a 4 door auto with a D16 in it. I am entirely stoked on my car however, since its faster than my old Toyota Tacoma and gets over 30 mpg.

Their aren't any secrets to having more power. Turbos are a fast way to more power, along with an engine swap. The search feature is a handy thing to use. I only have 29 posts, but it's because the search feature saved me the effort of having to type up my own questions.

So heres the deal with the Civic: Excellent car to buy, fun to drive, and most excellent for modding.

 

the engine in that 04 lx is not the best engine for speed, but you can always make it just a little bit faster.

 

I really don't want a superperformance car but i need a car that is certainly faster that my camry with 188 HP, I really don't understand, why a car with 117HP is faster ?
