Default What To Do With New Car

I'm going to be getting a brand new 2006 Honda Civic LX Sedan or a brand new 2006 Honda Accord LX Sedan...

when Ifirst get my car and drive it home..what should I do? I heard some people say keep it under 55 mph until you reach 1,000 miles...shoudl I go get an oil change..what should I do when i first get the car? Anything specific?

Dont get a oil change till 5000 miles, they have break in period where they use special oil... If you actually buy the car the dealer will tell you all of this lol.

I know this will be tough (as with any new car), but until it hits about 1K miles, don't really rough it too much! Drive like grandma and you'll be fine.

keep the revs low, its probably something like under 4000rpm. And try not to keep the engine at a constant speed. Changing gears and varying the revs will free the engine up better
