what kind of oil do you use?
just wanted to see what kind of oil you guys are running...the regular 5w30 stuff or is anyone running with something different? should a different grade of oil be used in civics other than 5w30

Valvoline 5w30. If you go 10w40, you will lose efficiency. Some people use 10w30 when it is really hot out, but I stick to the book.5w30 is thin enough to quickly lube up the engine on a cold start and thick enough to keep it lubed when you drive it hard.

guys who've used 10w30 have you upgraded from 5w30? if you have is there a noticeable difference at all? i'm just curious...also is it best to go with a solid brand name? penzoil, castrol etc. rather than the i guess not no-name but gas station named oil? you get what i'm saying?
