Default What type of port/adapter is this?

Just purchased a used 2002 Civic LX and noticed this port near the cigarette adapter. Any idea what it is guys?

Does this car have an immobilizer on it? If so that may be the de-activation area. I Have seen a system like this before.

Yes, it does have an immobilizer on it. How does the de-activation port work?

Thats not factory. And its definetely not anything to do with the immobilizer. my guess would have to be some kink of power adapter port for something that previous owner had

just pull off that panel and follow the wires and see where they go. that panel just snaps off.
