hey, i saw the other guys thread on how to install one and i was actually thinking about installing one also, but i dont get what the point is?...you still need to use the key put it into the acc and then press the button, is it just a fashin mod ? or is there a actually purpous to it?

...buy the way jsut incase someone takes this the wrong way im not saying anything bad about them, i also want to install one (pending) and i was just wondering this

Lol, Ive thought about things like this also, I almost even though about what the point was in doing anything to a car. I perfer to believe that the point to things like this are just to be kool. Make you feel like you in the batmobile or in Kit the nightrider car. Makes ya feel good inside, and just well satisfied.

Why would you think about doing it if you don't understand it?

 

What would be cool if you could do the thing where the car will be able to start if the keys are in your pocket. One of the car companies (don't remember which) has a system where when you get near the car the doors will unlock. Then when you sit inside, you press the button to start the car. BTW, this only works if the keys are in your pocket. That would be pretty convinient.

yeah i know taht mercedes does have that, i think lexus has something alone taht line too though... not 100% sure on that though

 

I got a push button on mine and it takes a while if you have never seen it to get the car to crank.I soidered wires on the back of my igination to a switch next to the gear shifter
which is linked to a fuse.

 

what do you mean it takes a wile? and why would it?
