Ford Focus is just trash [:'(][:'(][:'(]

 

I almost bought a focus. They're good little cars. But you can't beat Honda build quality. A stock focus versus a stock ex (I have an ex, obviously) should result in the civic winning. Even a fully loaded ex coupe weighs about 200 pounds less than a focus, with only 9 less horsepower.

The only thing where a Focus would get you is low end pull. Their engines are nice and torquey for their size.

But I like Honda engines better [8D]

 

well they do have that new Focus rally inspired car now. I think it puts down over 200hp

And personally i hate ford focuses, looks, performance, company (kinda) pretty much everything. If im gonna go economy at all, its 99.99% likely to be import.

Besides, im a honda man when the $h!t hits the fan!

let me tell you this... my brothers friends boyfriend has a yellow ford svt focus... ITS NO JOKE lol there fast i think they even might be faster then cobalt ss o.o

 

yup go race a svt focus and see what happens now don't get me wrong i like honda's but ford is doing better now

The engine has developed 85 percent of its peak torque by the time it reaches 2,200 rpm.

In standard Focus models it produces 130 hp at 5,300 rpm and 135 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,500 rpm. This engine’s cast-iron block already has the strength, rigidity and durability necessary for the increased power SVT engineers were developing.

 

If they would bring the Euro Focus' over here, we'd all get spanked. Just go over to google or wikipedia and type in Focus RS, then drool and be jelous.

 

the 2008 focus coupe thats out now has 140 horsepower @ 6.000 rpm 136 ft lb's torque @ 4.250 and weighs about 2.650 pounds

 

I think they are all gay. But thats probly cuz a kid i know has a **** colored one with euro tailights antenas everywhere, flame seat covers, a folgers muffler, and spinning hubcaps wich get ripped off and broken weekly but he insists on buying more... so iduno it could be that or the fact that ihate ford in general.

 

I think they are pretty nice, I've driven one and almost bought one but in the end overall Hondas are better.
