Default When you go down/up a curb do you hear your rear windshield vibrate?

Like when I reverse down the driveway and slow down to go down curb I can hear the rear windshield, more like hear the rear window weatherstripping adjusting/creaking. Can't be normal?

That and poor wind noise around front windows and how I can still push on the door a few centimeters when it's closed

almost 9 years old, owned it for 2.5 years, maybe it's time to replace the weatherstrips.

How do you know the noise is coming from the windshield?

Is the windshield loose?

i can hear a creaking rubber noise and there's nothing else in my car that could make that noise from the back, or I would assume.

my question is, how do I check to see if it's loose or what, where are the mounts at, don't even know how it's secured.

Mine doesnt vibrate at all. Check all around, might be the weather striping.

Push on the window from inside and out and at various angles to check for looseness.

Also, have a buddy sit in the rear seat and try to localize the noise while you are backing out of the driveway.

it's probably the rear deck garnish/cover thing (the area behind the back seats, directly under the back window, that the speakers mount on.)

Yeah, there seems to be lots of possibilities, including what Trust mentions as well as something loose in the trunk or even the exhaust system.

it's not that, simply because before I had my sub mounted it would get caught against the bottom of the rear speakers and it would rattle like crazy. That sound is gone since I mounted the subs.
