not sure how many ya need but you can never have to much.... buy 4-5. you can always take one back as long as you didnt open it and get your money back...
but IMO id keep one since fluid can leak so you never know when youll need to be toped off alittle bit.

2.9 is the accurate amount. One more things you guys might not have known, because I didn't until recently. I'm glad I went w/ the castrol atf for imports because it's covered under it. What I'm getting to is very very important and will ruin that tranny much quicker if you don't follow. Be sure to always put honda brand atf in your trans. If you can't find honda brand, you have to at least make sure it states that Z1 is covered by the fluid. Has to be a Z1 type fluid for sure! Remember that. Also to help your trans out and extend life, if driving 40 or below especially in town, put your civic in D3. You'll be amazed how much easier it shifts gears. I didn't know whether to believe this or not, so I checked the owner's manual and sure enough it says to use D3 instead of just DRIVE when driving in a city type setting or under 40 w/ sudden and frequent stops and take offs.
