My local drag strip lets anyone go as long as you pay $15 for the entry and $10 per race. Lots of high school kids from the area come and race.

I've never gone, That's just what I heard. I worked pit crew for one of my father's friends in a Pinks All Out Race in Baytown. That was $10 to get in. He races a 76 AMC Grimlin with a 350 bored to about a 408-412. Did most of the work on our machine shop.
