i noticed on my civic that the glove box doesnt have a lock. the back seats that fold down have a lock, you can lock the gas cap and the trunk, but no lock on the glove box? are all civics like that or just the 98-2000 Si 's?

 

nope all civics are like that, even the brand new ones!

well you would think they would put a lock on the glove box b4 all that other stuff...oh well. i got door locks.

 

What's in your glove box that you need to lock? A gun? About the people that a glove box lock keeps out are passengers.

 

I would have to guess the gas is most important.




Got a good solution for you. Empty your glove box into the trunk, lol. JK.

on my z, the glove box has this huge door (and a lock, i think) and then you open it and there is barely enough room for a pack of cigarettes. the registration won't even fit unless i wad it up in a ball. WTF?

i do the same thing as you guys, just reach back between the seats and put everything in the trunk.

 

Yeah but you cant open the seats from the passenger compartment withough the key right.
