yeah it will. i took about 100-150 lbs out of mine that way. and i still have ac. but dont take the things off the brakes. im not sure how they work, but i did that with my stock brakes, and the wheels would dust up in like 2 days. i mean they are on the inside, i didnt think they'd make that much difference, but they do.

Sorry for the confusion, sacicons. I meant that it won't give him another second off his quarter or anything like that. Sure, he'll shed some body fat, but not enough to beat that other car. The A/C and PS pumps make more of a difference because they are actually physically inhibiting the engine.

well if its just for fun then whatever happens happens you know he does has a hybrid and your just stock just give him a good run you know. but other then that dont put money on the table if you know your gonna lose lol

XCM828, you're telling me if you take two say B16's, one stock and other one built and you race them, the one that's stock can still win? Hmmm. Also, if you tell him you're gonna built up your motor, that don't mean he's not going to race you, that's why you check each others motors out before you race, and then decide if you wanna bet money and race altoghter.
