Question Wonky Speedometer

So this started happening a few months ago. On the speedometer, sometimes when I am driving parts of the numbers will disappear. It's usually the same "lines" of the speedometer but it will vary and be worse sometimes than others. It says the right speed, but seems like the digital display is losing pixels or has a lose wire. I can't pin a pattern to the occurrence. Is this an easy/cheap fix?

Sounds like you might have a poor ground. Get yourself an electrical schematic and see where the speedo and other dash lights are grounded and go from there.
