Would I be happy?
Every since I almost bought that '94 Dx hatch, i"ve been looking for another. I want a 91-up hatch. With the money I have to spend, i'm pretty sure that i'll be gettinga DX. Like previously stated, i'm on a limited budget, so i'm gonna post my to-do list, and I want you to figure if I will be happy with the rseults. This car would set in my garage and be a slow build. Of course I want to build it more than this, but this will be stage one of the build. Given my funds, it will take a while to complete stage one, and it will be there a while once complete. I know it won't be anything close to quick, but I would like to have fun on the street with this car, i'd like to drag it (hopefully run in the low 16's during my stage one), and I dont want to getsmoked by other cars in my general grouping that have bolt-ons. Am I thinking realistically?
Mod list:
rebuild stock engine
mini-me head swap
intake
header
exhaust
full suspension
stripped interior
wheels/tires
I know thats a simple build, but someone on here probably has those mods. I'm hoping they have some numbers for me. All of those mods listed aren't performance, but their on my to-do list. This is the option, please do not say engine swap (it is out of range). I'm up for small performance suggestions, but nothing too drastic.

RE: Would I be happy?
Now when you say rebuild stock engine, what do you mean? Are you talking about just overhauling or upgrading? If your talking about upgrading, yeah you can definitely have some decent numbers, but it all depends on your budget. Since your not boosting, you can PROBABLY stick with stock rods, get some high compression pistons, maybe a P&P on the swapped head, stage 2 cam, and a tune to go along with yourother upgrades. But like i said, it all depends on what your budget will allow.
