would you use your civic for pizza dilevery? i dont want to but its lookin like im gonna have to, but i love my car and i would prefer not to put miles on it like that but money is short. Car has 56k on it and is in excelent condition, what do you guys think?

 

Pizza delivery is basically you working for nothing after you factor your car-related costs into it. Unless you're working an area where they always tip exceptionally well.

 

No NO NOOOO its terrible for your car. Scratches the top of your car and puts too many miles on it.... but if its what you need to do then I guess you could. What year is it?

 

I deliver pies in my civic all the time. I earn an average of 20$/hr. I drive a 95 cx with just over 106k miles on it. I have done all the maintennance, and a buddy of mine that delivers pies as well works at acura and he gives me a discount on service . It works both ways. And if no one puts miles onmy car, no one will. It's getting old...

 

I wouldnt unless I had to and the money was good.

 

The only thing I'd transport in my car would be bank robbers or suitcases full of money. Lol, jk, but it really depends... what year is the car? I assume it's fairly new... I'd do it if it was my car cause I need to do a motor swap sometime soon anyway, so I could just save up the cash for it while my drivetrain racked up the miles... lol.

 

The Honda Civic is the best damn delivery car I have ever owned. I have been a part time pizza driver on and off for the last 10 years (its a GREAT second income). Ive usedmany small cars and trucks over the years and the Civic has been the best. I only drive 3 nights a week and usually make $150 cash and use about $30 in gas. As long as you do the required maintenance (constant oil changes and brakes), your car will be fine.
