Haha, you god damn Americans with your inconvenient numeric values

Well, I'm still considering it..but I may be in business...

..thanks for the comments though guys...

...really appreciated.

If all does go through I'll most likely become an avid poster on these forums as well...and I'll get some pics up.

This will become my winter tuner car while I park my GT-R.

Thanks again.
...GT-R?

It's a Skyline GT-R.

Lucky us Canadian's with our importation rules.[8D]

...and yes I realize the AWD system that is in my car, but I'm not going to put her through a winter, much less shell out another $1,000 dollars for four 255/35R18 winters.

Back to the Civic...

...once a deposit is made I'll post up the pictures from the seller.

On a side note though, how are the B16's for reliability in comparisson to the stock North American engines?

Also, what grade of fuel best suits a B16...I may only do intake and exhaust this winter so canI get away with running low grade??

Treat me like a beginner becuz I am completely new to the Civic world...and quite honestly, up until this potential purchase I really had nothing but contempt for the car.

It's a very easy car to hate on...

...butI'm beginning to respect its roots and its quality.

Thanks guys,

Weird that we can have a Skyline GT-R but not a Scion tC. [:-]There certainly are some strange rules for Canadian vehicles.
I think 6k is probably about right; cars are generally more expensive in Canada, I think because the manufacturers haven't really adjusted the prices to reflect the current exchange rate which is almost equal. If you try to buy the exact same civic, one in Canada, and one in the US, the Canadian one is going to cost a couple thousand or somore from the dealer even if the currenciesare equal value.
By the way, has anyone imported their EK to Canada from the US? I might be moving back to Vancouver soon, and I'm wondering what I'll be up against.

I think you're the fourth person this month to correct me on this exact same thing.[:@][&:]\

Thanks.

It's a 1989 Skyline GT-R.

It is:

-Completely repainted white, with an engine swap to a 1996 BCNR33 Spec RB26DETT.
-HKS turbo outlets and front pipe.
-CAT delete.
-Kakimoto Racing exhaust.
-ARC Super Induction Box.
-Full RG coilovers.
-GReddy boost controller.

The basics without going over the top.
I'll look to do injectors, fuel pump, and a re-map next summer hopefully to average in 400HP on the stock BCNR33 turbo's.

Anyways, back to the civic...anyone have any opinions on the B16's reliability?

Thanks guys.
