BTW, if you do this on your lawn mower, be ready for some serious SMOKE!!! LMAO I will try to get a vid of it when I do my grandfathers next week.

I've done this. Totally worth it. I used the DIY here.

Just got to make sure not to use too much.

Well, I used Seafoam, 2 days later my CEL is on. I'll pull a code later. Got my fingers crossed! Twas it the Seafoam(yar!)? I won't jump to conclusions till I get the code.

My local parts store has a fleet of S10's and they put 50K-100K miles a year on each, and the owner swears by seafoam! He say's its the best anti-carbon stuff on the market!

Ok I pulled the CEL code, #67 Catalyst system Efficiency Below Threshold malfunctioning or defective catalyst system. My guess is that the Seafoam burnedup/knocked loose a bunch of crud, which ended up in my catalytic converter. I followed the advice for high milage, by only using 1oz twice, and 1/3 can in the gas tank. Don't get me wrong, the engine runs a bit better, but beware other high mile(164k!and counting) folks. This may explain the puffs of smoke under my engine while using Seafoam(see above post).
