i was wondering as which rpm everyone shifts at?
i have a 2000 se with a intake and exhust. I shift at 3500 or if im going up hill at about 4500

whats have you done to your motor and what RPM do you shift at???

 

2001 civic ex w/ aem v2 and greddy evo2 and i shift around 3-3.5k or 4-5k depending on situation (and price of gas)

 

3-5k rpm.

If I'm making a get away I'll take it to 6000
If I see a cop I shift at 3000

Sounds about right... in my S14. I would habitually take my built/balanced/printed ZC to 9.

 

what RPM is right for 0-60 between 2nd and 3rd? I was wondering if there is a specific rpm that will make a faster time than just reving to the redline every shift.

Anyway to contribute to the thread, I shift to 2nd @ 15MPH to 3rd @ 27 MPH to 4th @ 37 MPH and to 5th @ 53 MPH. And usually about 2800-3000 RPM. (Best gas Mileage)
80 miles a day for school and the gas money adds up quick.

 

80 miles, damn and i thought it was bad cos i do 60.

 

with way gas prices are im shifting at like 2600. it sucks on acceleration but with gas stations drying up left and right im ok with it.
