if you do that you wont be able to hear anything because youll be outta gas. the only thing youll hear are the cars passing by as you walk to the nearest gas station that actually has gas.

wel, as long as you dont leave it revved up for longer than you need to, it really wont affect your mileage too much. civics have better volumetric efficiency at WOT and higher revs than they do at lower revs and part throttle. i drove like a grandma for a week. i never hit WOT, never hit VTEC, never even reved over about 4000. my mileage went from about 26-28 to about 29. not worth it. now with an even more powerful engine, i drive it hard all day every day, and i still average 25-27. and thats mostly city driving.

Funny me and a friend were talking he has a CTR and he reckons his best shift point is 7400rpm when he was doing sprints. Got me thinking what mine is. Anyone know for a B16?
