Default 90 civic si

So i just have some questions about my engine rebuild before i drop it in my civic si body. Is a turbo really worth it? Or would a good cold air, intake manifold, throttle body, headers and exhaust be better for the money? What about new camshafts, cams, pistons? I just wanna get alot of hp and not spend 4 k on a complete turbo. Also i have had mixed opinions on engines..any suggestions on which one would respond best to the upgrades I listed?

Do you research. How much money do you have? How much power would you like to end up with? How much experience do you have?

Also, PM a mod and have this moved out of the project section.

if you want power out of the D16a6 in your Si, turbo is the only feasible route.

Without boost, the D16 cannot suck in enough air unless you do some extensive mods...
It's more worth going for turbo, or even supercharged (but the only decent supercharger kinda sucks and is kinda rare)
