hey so how many cans of primer, paint, and clear did you go through? I'm heading home for the week from college cause my hood is rusting bad. I plan on pretty much doing what you did until i can do a legit paint job. Any extra info would help

for the hood. ruffly 2 cans primer, 2 cans sealer, 2 cans paint and 2cans clear.
thats what i used. well actually i only used 1 can of clear on the hood BUT it wasnt enough to lay even so i should have used 2 but i only had one at the time.

i know im posting on a very old thread but I was gone for a little over half a year, I just caught up on everything I missed, you did some amazing work on that car it was fun watching it come along and seeing how you can save a civic, gives me lots of hope for the ridiculous things I see being done to nice cars everywhere haha.
Nice work and hopefully see you back in the civic game soon!

thanks.... and ya i am looking for a project civic now 96-00 just alittle.
worst thing that is hurting me is the MPG difference from a civic to my fullsize truck. that kinda sucks at the gas pump ALL THE TIME. so i am thinking of looking every now and then for a project if i can find one cheap enough.
my only real big bill to pay off now is my new bigscreen tv i got afew months ago. 2K bucks. so im paying on it now but plan on puting my tax check straight towards it and knocking a huge chunk outta it.
