Since weather is getting worst by the day..(hasn't stopped raining/snowing since thursday) I decided to get working on giving my wheels a new look.
Im gonna go to lowes and grab a few packs of sanding paper and start sanding them.
Im gonna be spray painting them, do you guys think if i keep the rubber on the rims, and paint it like that, do you guys think it will last? or should i take the tires off..
dont really wanna do that tho..lol
I've seen ppl use playing cards to cover all around the rim, but im not sure if they will chip when i get new tires mounted...
What do you guys think?

I've seen poorly spray painted wheels chip when new tires were put on. But when I had my black hx's on my red coupe I painted them with a couple coats primer, 4 to 5 coats of color and a ton of clear. They didnt chip when I had the tires replaced. As for the playing card thing i've never tried it or painted wheels with the tires still on. Although I'm sure a lot of people have done it before.
