Engelhonda37's ls/vtec project
So heres a little about the car and whats done to it:
It is a 99 civic ex i bought it for 7,000 from Planet Honda two years ago with 177k miles on it, it now has about 215k on it lol but its still very strong running. It was bone stock when i bought it, once i got my first job i quickly blew my first paycheck on a K&N CAI. Everything on/done to the car has been done by myself seeing as how i am going to automotive school its a great learning experience. Anyways here is a list of what i have done...
K&N CAI
megan 4-2-1 racing headers
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Magnaflow catback exhaust
Front Strut bar
Dropzone adjustable coilovers
5% mirror tint all around
si front grill and rear lip (front lip was torn off by an unavoidable blown tire in the road)
Tinted rear lights
and a recent weight reduction (ac will be out soon)

Now, as for my plans for the car...
Full ls swap w/ gsr tranny (will be in very shortly)
Not sure yet if i wanna turbo the ls or go ahead and get a gsr head on there and run all motor.
As for suspension i am wanting to get some Skunk2 control arms all around and upgrade from my stock struts, get some 15 or 16 inch rims (black) and hopefully will be autocrossing this year.
Now for interior, i did some spraypainting to some pieces on the center console and door panels and painted some things black. But as soon as i get paid friday i will be picking up some black cloth and light green stitching to reupholster some things inside (thanks addiction for your awesome write up). I also want to get a short shifter here soon and do green stitching onto the shift boot, on top of this get some nice racing seats.

Now a little about myself...
Im turning 19 in february and im currently working for sysco doing deliveries. School starts up again the 19th of this month where ill be delivering during the day and taking classes at night. Over the last 2.5 years i have been attending an automotive technology school, i love cars and have learned alot here but ive recently decided working at a dealership fixing ordinary, everyday cars isnt for me. So for now im going to start school for HVAC, kinda following in my dads footsteps.
