Where did you get the new bumper support beam? Mine is so rusty I might as well not have it. I'm thinking about picking one up.

Well since I got the OEM Bumper cover from a buddy I didn't know anywhere local to get the support other than Certifit. Which makes the cheaper replacement parts from Taiwan. I figured they cant mess up the bumper support too much compared to OEM. It was only like $20 too. Come to think of it my bumper support was rusted around the bolts that mount it to the frame lol.

I got the lip off ebay. Just a normal Mugen style front lip. I havent painted it because I have enough paint at my friends from when I painted my door moldings and havent had a chance to pick it up. I didnt want to spend more on paint I already have lol. I will be painting it when I get time later this week or this weekend

Got my OEM Waterpump and OEM Timing Belt Tensioner in the mail. Looking to get the Beaks bar tomorrow hopefully. I'm thinking more and more about getting a Bisimoto cam for the motor, instead of Crower.

I am happy with my Bisimoto, only because I had the N/A Crower cam. The Nitrous Bisimoto cam is definitely bringing more power out of my S/C'd Y8, thus the reason I am happy with it

Either way, Bisi is a nice choice.

Yeah, I was looking at the Level 2 cam. I'm thinking that would be best for my N/A setup as far as I can tell.

Alright, in the mail today I recieved my floor mats, ARP Head Studs, Exedy Clutch and Beaks bar. Tomorrow I should get my Zealous license plate angler.

Also, this morning I got around to taking my block and head apart but forgot to take some pictures of the block and other stuff! I took apart the head all the way down to bare except the valves and valve springs. I removed the pistons, rods and crank from the block and had my dad take them to the person doing the machining. I got quoted $400 to remove the old pistons from the rods, shotpeen the rods, machine them if needed, press the new pistons on the rods, bore and hone the block to 75.5mm, micro-polish the crank, balance the crank and machine it if it has any wear. Also, everything will be hot-tanked including the main cap, pieces the crank seals sit in and the block itself. I'll take pictures of all that when I get them back.

I also ordered a Gates Racing Thermostat and plan on putting in my floor mats and installing the Beaks bar tomorrow after work. I will post pictures as soon as I get all that done, I'm way too tired to do it tonight lol. After this all I need to do is get my OEM timing belt, pick a cam, get some valve springs and retainers, Main and Rod Bearings and get the head work taken care of. I'm hoping to put this thing in the car next month. Although, paying for college might delay that slightly.
