The bore and hone are only $50 but theres a whole lot of other stuff I could have them do for extra security if I wanted to dish out the cash.I could even have them put the whole thing together for me and I wouldnt have to worry about a thing but at the same time I wouldrather do it myself for the learning/prideaspect. I will probably end up going with a gunmetal/red/black theme but Im still not sure what thingswill be what colors and there are a few other texture options to consider as well.

Well my rods finally came in today but still no pistons. The block will be going to the shop for work as soon as the pistons show up. These tuner toys rods look really good. I cant wait till this project is done and on the road. I guess half of the fun is getting there though. heres some pics of the rods.

sooo...you got the geo as your beater driver while the civic is being worked on, but it dosent run?? How is that any different from the situation of not having the civic and just dumping the 500 on the build. haha, anyways, looking good man, those rods are niiiiiiccceee. cant wait to see more.

lol well it was running when I bought it but it needed a new headgasket cause it would overheat, the problem was when I tried changing the headgasket the cheap way without resurfacing the head or knowing the correct torque specs on the headstuds and it blew another headgasket lol. I know Im an idiot[:@]. I just got the head resurfaced yesterday and its all cleaned up and ready to go back together. Thursday it should finally be running. By the way, the geo wasnt really just for the time spent on my car right now, I just needed a beater in general since turbo civics arent really the most reliable cars out there and I need a second mode of transportation in general. Heressome pics of the head after a resurface and about 4 cans of break cleaner.

Ok to tell you the truth,I just always wanted a Geo Metro, its my dream car! No really, I know once Im finished with the motor build Im going to break it in for 500 miles and then theres going to be another week of downtime while Im installing the new turbo setup and getting it tuned enough to drive and even then I dont want to be driving it around until its fully dyno tuned. I also dont want to bemaking a400 mile round trip from school 10 times a semester with my 400whp civic and theGeo will get like 45 mpg when its running!

Do yourself a major fav. Send your head for a port and polish and your block to be rehoned and fitted. Also blueprint that shiznit. If you really want a good fixin, let me know. I know machine shop that will do gods work on your stuff. If my mech send his porsche and subie crap AND my stuff to there... im sure they will do wonders for you.
