Plethoric's EK Hatchback
LOL, no. I mean hourly speaking. Total hours of labor added up to over $1000. So it should have been that plus the flywheel, bushings, OEM bolts, and retapping a lot of stripped holes.
Dang thats a good thing u got that all fixed tho and i bet shes fun as hell to drive now haha i want a manual trany so damn bad
really regret not buying a manual sometimes but oh well thats life!

The real scary part was the flywheel. It was missing 2 of the 4 bolts, and the ones used were not long enough. They were meant for an automatic trans, which has no flywheel making them much shorter. They were also only hand tight according to the mechanic. This is what can happen when your flywheel comes off and explodes in your trans...

In Ohio. Got it for a good price though. The sad part is that the motor was put in by a mechanic lol. So he paid a good chunk of money to a shop who knew nothing of Honda swaps to put in a motor terribly. I had already done quite a bit of clean up on the swap and though I had got it where it needed to be. Its still shocking to me how much of a difference there is from before and after the trans swap. Words can't explain.
Current plans are to save for a few weeks for a Koni/Ground Control suspension setup. So nothing else big will happen until suspension is taken care of. Minor interior mods and probably a wheel color change are still going to be possible since they are cheap and easy.
Also looking for a 99-00 Civic engine harness if anyone has or knows someone who has one.

Just picked up another OEM Si grill for $35 bucks on HT. It used to be red but is sanded down ready for paint. One of the corner clips on mine is broke so I couldn't pass this up being so cheap. So I guess when it arrives I'm going to take it and the rear CTR lip to Macco for paint.
