Good question. Its a map thats been tinkered with but its not a basemap. A stand alone unit is an aftermarket ECU that can be controlled on most or all parameters.
Remmy, I just read this entire thread from beginning to end. That SI looks spectacular... Congratulations!
I am absolutely jealous as can be, especially for a noob to the forum and to tuning.
I can't wait to get the heck out of college so that I can play with my Civic. College is keeping me WAYYYYY below the poverty line. Your build is positively inspirational. I can't wait to see the dyno results.

Thank you. I have to save up some cash for smoe things to get done. Right now its running 15psi on a meek tune. I need to hit the dyno and have it hard core tuned...BUT there isnt really a point until I get some better shocks for the thing because the wheel hop in that car is outrageously bad.
*Update*
Ive done a few things to the car. First, I added in a ITR shifter with energy bushings... the car shifts scary smooth. I had to use a lot of acura parts like bushings and washers for this shifter. I also had to modify it a little by shaving it down on one side where it connects to the linkage. It wasnt hard but I had to be very careful.
I also just added in super nice Bilstein shocks to go with the Eibach springs. This car s now track ready and it rides like its on rails! It even lowered the car a little more and improved the ride quality by a long shot. Turns out the old stock shocks were worn and they were cauing the springs to do all the work.
Here are some pics for you. The car just got out of a wax job too : ).
Next to come:
Vibrant universal flat black muffler
Oil cooler
Wideband o2
oil temp gauge
Dynamat (this weekend)
