I just got what ever fit for the Y8. I'm not sure what brand. Got it at one of the auto stores for $35 or so. And the head gasket hasn't been blowing. The first time was my fault. It never blew, it just was not set properly. I was still learning and messing up. lol.
And I doubt the head gasket blew and messed everything up. If that was the case it would still be drinking water and going into the oil. But the oil is just oil. So a hose or something sprung a leak or something stupid. I just can't tell at the moment because everything is wet.

Never found out why I had the leak. It no longer leaks. So whatever. lol.

So I'm calling out to all my readers to help me get this damn swap complete.I'm tired of being James Bond and blowing smoke. Though it has been convenient at times. Like when a truck wants to get on my butt. I press the clutch and gas and make a smokescreen. Slows them down quickly. lol
Anyways, I have all the parts needed for the swap. I'm having a hard time finding out all the wiring info. I'm very unsure of the wiring. I'm not afraid of wires, but don't want to figure it out the hard way. Anything that any of you have to post would be very appreciated.
I have the d16z6 with dizzy and intake manifold, p28 ecu, fuel pressure regulator, and the motor comes with ITS harness. I have a obd0 to obd1 harness that I bought from SoCalrider. I'll get a picture of it by itself up later. The quicker I can figure this out, the quicker i'll have a nice little z6 in the hatch. THEN boost? Yes, boost. =)
