Ok so as I said before I bought the car in November of 2008, and the car was almost completely stock when I bought it. The only thing done was a short shifter, and the radio and speakers had been changed out.

I quickly swapped the suspension off of my old hatch and onto the new civic the weekend after I purchased it. And putting in my stereo soon followed. That’s really all I have had the money to do since I bought it due to other financial responsibilities. And now I’m finally in the postion to start purchasing some mods for the car.

In September of 2009 my car was hit in the parking lot at work and the driver drove off without stopping. There were a couple of witnesses, but nothing came of it due to no one getting a license plate number. The bumper is really jacked up, the grille mounting tabs are broken and one of the bumper supports was mangled, but there was no structural damage, so I did not completely fix it at the time. I was able to temporarily fix the bumper to look half decent, but I will be looking to fix that in the near future.

And as some of you may have seen in my other thread. I just purchased some Konig Supermesh in a 16x7 red w/ polished lip. Turns out that 2 of my tires are about gone and one of the others has a huge bubble, so I needed new tires. So I figured that I would just go ahead and get my rims now. This is my first major purchase towards the project and I am extremely excited and cant wait till they come in.

That’s a pretty quick history of the car. And heres some pics starting from the day I got it to now.

and the rims. Konig Supermesh 16x7. Every picture I took seemed to have a pink tint to them, and no matter what I did with the camera I couldn't get them to look completely red like they are in person. oh well, but heres the best pics

and the lugs and center caps. I haven't decided if I will use them or not. I'll just have to wait till the rims are on the car to decide.

+50264470924... you're definitely right about that!

Awesome that you got a project thread going. I like the red wheels on white look. I think the center caps would look good.

Hit and runs are the worst. Happened to my hatch 2 days after buying it. But there is a seller on ebay, something like Vally-Auto, that sells painted bumpers and fenders in OEM colors. I got my bumper and fender painted and shipped for under $270. Paint matched perfect and it has held up just fine. Fitment was great too.

I just looked them up through my feedback and they are no longer a registered user. Sucks. But if you just search "civic front bumper painted" you will find others that offer the OEM paint matching as well. Almost all of them get their parts from the same suppliers, so fitment should be the same.
