UPDATE: Theres a 5 speed crx on craigslist for 500 bux. Brand new tires. the only thing wrong with it is cylender 3. i planned on buying ls meshies for 300 bux next week, should i just add the 200 extra, get the crx and just use those rims and tires PLUS have a project car to work on? i mean i could just save for a swap and **** like that. have it running by fall. soooo opinions here please! should i do it? i would be giving up the meshies for stock accord rims but i would be getting a crx also.

im seriously thinking about, i mean it would only be 200 extra, i would have to skip out on the ls meshies, fogs and window vents i was gonna get for my hatch but i would still have new tires PLUS a crx project.. imma email the dude and make an offer

CRX is gone, he priced it at 500 but had a bidding war, ended up selling it for like 1200.. so yeah.. but here is the new options, please help me decide

Option 1. LS meshies (painted gunmetal, i will have to strip then and polish them).. with 60% tread ($300)

Option 2. Steelies w/hubcaps, Good tires, + LS meshies (just got outta sandblasted, will need painted or polished, i will polish) with ****ty tires.. ($300)

 

Options are soo much easier to decide with pics!

Option one wins.

Option two will make you still spend 300. You will have the meshies, but no tires on them. And steelies are nothing special.

 

^ And the 14" steely tires can't go on the 15" mesh.

 

well im picking up the steelies tomorrow, my buddy is selling them, 4 really good tires on them, so they will last me untill i get new rims and for the winter, im going to sand em down, paint em black and get beauty rings so it looks black with polished lip.. then imma try to talk the other guy down to 200 since he is making me wait forever so hopefully i get the best of both worlds.. if not, then ill be searching the market for 200 dollar rims..

ALSO: gotta get a new windshield soon, gonna take mitches advice and talk em down to 150 for that.. also need to get my brakes done, they have been squeeling ever since i got them replaced like 9 months ago and my brake lights on so im just gonna goto my cousin's boyfriends garage and get him to fix it all up.. hopefully ill end up having enough to get a lip, grill, tint, and re-upholster the interior.. i got like 800 left to work with but i was trying to save some for insurance but i have untill june to pay it.

 

picked up the steelies today, the tires r great so atleast i know i have somethign to fall back on, my tires now are showing cords lol.. so yeah, picked em up, cleaned most of the brake dust off them, now their just sitting in the garage. imma sand em down and re-paint them black.. should i **** around and mess with a bronze lip? or bronze with black lip? cause i cant find beauty rings anywhere.
