Had to remove the H-brace. It was hitting the header for some reason.

So, a word of advice. Bars and braces like H-braces and 3 point or 4 point strut bars (basically anything with more than 2 mounting points), avoid generic eBay parts at all costs! They don't fit right. This particular brace is lop-sided... one side is longer than the other, causing the cross brace in the middle to be crooked, which is why it was interfering with my cat flange. But after modifying the flange, it started hitting the header. HORRIBLE. And I can't return it because I got it in a trade with Danomatic93, not from the eBay seller.

(And no, I do not blame Dan so don't take it that way. He's a good dude and a legit seller/trader/buyer. He didn't even know it was lopsided, he hadn't even unwrapped it from the plastic.)

have you thought about putting washers in it and spacing it away a little.

Well I could do that but it would only move the back of the H-brace more towards the ground. The front needs to be spaced too but you can't do that by adding washers because the bolts are parallel to the ground, not perpendicular.

ok how about a hammer. or if you got access to a welder cut it apart and weld it up square and all with it on the car and then pull it off to fully weld it and grind it smooth and repaint it

the ebay brace isnt perfect like you said but its something you can modify yourself to still work and be easier than starting from scratch building one.

If I could weld I would have fixed the problem right at the beginning.

I'll just save the brace for after turbo. I'll have the downpipe made so it tucks up under the oil pan closer than this header does and won't interfere with the H brace.
