The ugly duckling (a Sol story)
CURRENTLY:deciding paint job
ALL RIGHT, the time has finally come to get on this project. I've been itching to have a nice boosted honda for over a year now and with a lot (and i mean a LOT) of research and learning and a job, i think i can go ahead and do this thing, and i'de love to take yall along for the ride
Time for me to pull my weight around here as much as yall have helped me so i will not only be making this to document my progress, but also to help everyone learn some how-to (whatever i can do with out professional help) and if i screw up, learn from my mistakes, lol.
Ok, where to start, i get a paycheck every 2 weeks so pretty much, long as i start with the cheaper stuff and work up, look for updates through out the weeks, after i get through the cheap, part will come creeping in as i can afford them (turbo, manifold, ect..)
**Prequel... Todd(me), Josh (my cousin)
---Josh: I gots me a GSR, and im going to turbo it and it will dust your stuff
.....Todd: i bet it won't
.....we set a budget, and now IT'S ON.....
**GOALS**
--350HP efficiently--not going to be a daily driven, but I want it to be able to be
--Custom, cleam design-- something to turn heads, but im not a ricer body kit style guy. Custom touches
--inform, learn and stay on budget-- help teach other honda people, learn myself, dont over spend
Current money spent---------------- $950
**MOTOR BUILD** as if you havent seen this 10000 times

RE: The ugly duckling (a Sol story)
[align=left]All right, heres the car, 95 Del Sol S.
picked it up locally for $700, guy left $150 bucks worth of tools in the trunk, lol. Its definatley a project, thats for sure, but as for a rolling shell (will run with a timing belt, stock D15 engine) i say its a dam good deal. Btw fully adjustable coilovers on it, havent checked the brand yet (raining hard) but im hoping they are decent.
