This was discussed here. I was just wondering if we could put that in a thread or page of it's own...Kind of like a photo gallery or timeslips page. Just a suggestion.

 

bah... I personally don't think it's necessary. If going into the product review section, and checking out the exhaust threads is too hard for people, well...

...it's not like theres very many in there either, so searching should be pretty easy.

 

It might get people to actually post clips of their exhaust. I mean, come on. We've got pics of everyones cars, why not clips of what they sound like?

 

dude, I completely understand what you're saying, but at the same time do we really need the same exhaust clip posted twice all over the forum.

...maybe if everyone put some time and effort into a product review, there'd be more clips out there to listen to.

I put 2 clips of my exhaust in my review.

 

It's a good idea in theory sky (don't feel bad), but forty's logic wins here. People just need to make more product reviews. (I personally will be reviewing and diy writing as much as I can whenever I start in on my civ.)

 

id just like to throw in here...that just because someones car sounds like something with an exhaust doesnt mean yours will with the same exhaust. for all you know, they could have a high flow cat, a turbo, and a built B while you have a test pipe, header, and stock D. it isnt much of a way to tell how it will sound on your car IMO.

Skytanker, I wasn't trying to be an ******* about it. I just thought that maybe if I put it nice and blunt, it might give others a kick in the pants to get working on their own. That, and if a certain exhaust clip starts a conversation of value to those who may purchase the same exhaust in the future, it would be beneficial to have that discussion all in the same thread, rather than scattered.

Nah, I was just getting frustrated and didn't want to say anything to make anyone mad cuz I used search terms like "exhaust," "muffler," "sound clip," and many more and came up with nothing, and the only ones I could find were in the product review section. And on top of that, for some reason my comp isn't reading the video stream on putfile where all the clips are...(you know what kind of file it is? WMV, right?)

I didn't take any offense 40. You've helped me a bit in the past! I'll just SUAC now!!! HAHAHA! Just kiddin'!
