Default Load Time & Website Improvements

Lately I have been noticing the load time on this website is slow. I have found on my own websites that limiting pictures, words per post, thread size, and eliminating unnecessary objects will reduce the page load time. The sponsors are not presented very well either. And this website is mostly pointed towards mostly American Drivers. However, this website does show the history of the civic and many other good pointers. Please take into consideration these views when improving this website. Also, I would highly recommend HCF members put down your personal opinions and thoughts of how to improve upon the website. Remember that your posts do not go unnoticed. These are only recommendations and my personal opinion.

My apologies for any grammar mistakes found in this thread (English is not my primary language).

i can build a web site thats is picture ridiculous and have it load faster then most web sites. It's a common mis conception that having lots of pictures will slow down a site. Reality is that in general poor site development is the cause of slow sites.
