there is an option in your settings to have it email you every time a new post is posted on the subscribed thread and you might have to change it to that.

I'm enjoying the new forum.
The DIY pics disappeared because the Image code changed so the codes for the images were no good. Will be taken care of.
Not sure about whats going on with emails for subscriptions. Patrick?

that's weird about the e-mails, mine are working fine. however, it will only send you one e-mail per thread. for example, if 3 people post on a thread around the same time, it will send you an e-mail after those 3 posts, but it will only send one e-mail. then you go to the forum and check the thread, and delete the e-mail. then it will send another next time someone posts.
