Default So many guests?

Hey

How come this forum gets so many guests? Are they just search engine bots or is it some kind of lame Synflood or DoS? I can imagin 800 search bots use a crapload of bandwidth.

I dont know why there are so many guests... it would be nice if they were to sign their asses up. Also, this forum is owned by a big 'forum' company. Theyve got audi forums and acoord forums, nissan forums. I believe that this one is one of the most successful.

Well I know DOS attacks cause high forum guest counts but are usually not long lived. It could also be search engine spiders or "targeted" traffic. I used to purchase traffic and direct it at my forums and 99.999999% never signed up but the board had a ton of guests lol.
