Default 08 Honda Civic SI

Just a few ? from a new guy. What is the best aftermarket exhaust for 08 SI? Where can you get them cheap? Does cat back system void warranty?

Congratulations - great car!

I bought my Magnaflow cat-back through a vendor on Ebay. No, the warranty is unaffected by a cat-back install.

if a problem happens and they can say that your exhaust was the problem then they will deny your warranty work... if a headlight goes out or something totally unrelated to the exhaust system then you are fine.

depends on what you mean by best and what you are looking for. The k series engine love to breath, and the best one from dyno results is the skunk 2 70mm, mind you it is also the loudest. Buddy club is in the middle at 2.5". But best bang for the buck is magna flow, at hottexhaust.com w/ coupon code vento or fordtruck8.

there is alot of personal pref. when i comes to exhaust, some like quiet some like the most gains they can get.

You might want to read this:

Considering that a dealership does have to prove your aftermarket part caused a problem, the chances that a cat-back has anything to do with anything short of an exahaust leak is next to zero. Don't worry - enjoy the much better sound that a good aftermarket exhaust system produces.
