I'd say the tune-up is a little of both. I think it can get back a few horses that might have been lost due to wear and tear, but I wouldn't expect miracles. Still, if you recently bought the car, I'd say you'll want to do it anyway. I think doing a tune-up everytime you buy a used car isan excellent idea.

 

ya ill get it done cuz it actuall has a blown head gasket... so im gettin that fixed then throwing the cheap turbo the guy threw in for it as well..... so ill get something in the mean time ya know
