2001 LX to EX?

2001 LX to EX?
So I shot a rod through the block on my stock non-VTEC engine and I plan on swapping in the EX engine with VTEC. With that being said, will I need a whole new exhaust system? Or will the stock LX exhaust connect with the EX headers? Any info helps. Will there be any other parts I will need to swap out? Thanks a bunch
